I recently bought second hand laptop with locked SSD drive. It is not stolen, but it is damaged with broken led display.
I was looking all over the internet of a way to unlock this particular laptop SSD without success - HP ELITBOOK 2540p.
I could not buy such an expenssive SSD drive. It has 160GB Intel SSD drive worth 400usd
What I am trying to do now is make John the Ripper use dictionary attack to secure erase the SSD.
I don't know how to formulate the command for the attack

I need this: john --wordlist="dict file" --stdout to trigger this: hdparm --user-master m --security-erase password /dev/sda
and succes or unsuccess to be displayed.

Thanks all for the effort
